Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I integrate my systems with Sola?
Without integrating your data, you won’t get real insights. If you’re nervous about connecting sensitive integrations with Sola Security, you can rest assured that Sola can only retrieve and never modify your data. Once connected, your data is securely stored, and access is restricted to retrieving configurations and meta-data only. Authentication methods ensure secure delegation of permissions while maintaining data integrity. Read more about our security practices in the Trust Center.
Can I upload a CSV file?
Absolutely. If it’s easier for you to export tables from your tech stack, or if you don’t have permissions to integrate certain tools, you can upload a CSV file as a data source, map the relevant columns – and your data would be available to start creating queries with Sola.
I can’t find the integration I’m looking for. What can I do?
We’re working on adding new integrations all the time. If you can’t find the one you’re looking for, feel free to suggest an integration, or you can upload a CSV with your data until we have an integration in place.
Is my data safe with Sola?
Your data is protected. Sola was built by security people, and security is (and will always be) our #1 priority. That means strong encryption, strict access controls, and constant monitoring. Plus, we follow industry standards and regularly audit our systems. Check out our Trust Center for more information.
What does Sola do with my data?
Sola will have read-only access to your data. Sola requires broad read access, because the answers to your security questions could be found anywhere in your data. This data is then structured into tables, making it easy to query and use to build apps.
