  • We're looking for a curious, impact-driven researcher to join Sola and help shape the future of AI in cybersecurity. You’ll work across research, product, and engineering to build innovative solutions that tackle real-world threats.Drive the research and development of cutting-edge AI capabilities specifically designed for cybersecurity applications.
  • Perform in-depth competitive analysis to identify inefficiencies, blind spots, and areas where Sola can deliver differentiated value through AI innovation.
  • Connect platform-level insights with ongoing research to help shape both product direction and research priorities.
  • Stay on top of advancements in both LLM-based and classical AI/ML methods — including techniques like RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation/benchmarking, and agent frameworks.
  • Design and build prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to validate impactful ideas, and collaborate with R&D to transition successful concepts into production.
  • Work closely with Product teams to influence prioritization, guide the roadmap, and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to transform research outcomes into thought leadership, content, and strategic messaging.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity research, machine learning/AI, and software architecture.
  • Proven track record of turning advanced research concepts into production-grade systems, ideally within fast-paced, product-driven environments.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, skilled at defining problem spaces, setting direction, and building from zero to one.
