We are looking for a Head of Research to drive our AI and cybersecurity research. You’ll help shape our AI direction and work closely with teams across Sola to make sure our research is bold, meaningful, and truly moves the business forward.

What you'll do:

• Lead the exploration and development of advanced AI capabilities tailored to cybersecurity use cases.
• Analyze the market to spot gaps where Sola can stand out with AI-driven innovation.
• Turn platform insights and research into clear product and research strategy.
• Stay up to date on LLM and AI/ML techniques like RAG, fine-tuning, benchmarking, and agents.
• Build PoCs to test big ideas and help bring them to production with R&D.
• Partner with Product and Marketing to shape the roadmap and spot new opportunities.

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity research, machine learning/AI, and software architecture- Must!
• Proven ability to turn research into production-ready systems, especially in startups or product settings.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, shaping open problem spaces, and building structure from the ground up
