Sola Security Winter Capture The Flag (CTF) Competition

1. Introduction
   These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Sola Security Winter Capture The Flag Competition (“Competition”), hosted by Sola Security (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”). By participating in the Competition, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Eligibility
   1. The Competition is open to individual users of the Sola Security platform (“Participants”).
   2. Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of February 25, 2026 in order to participate, and must be located in a country where Sola Security is legally permitted to do business.
   3. Employees of Sola Security, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes.
3. Competition Period
   1. The Competition begins on February 25, 2026 at 7:00 AM EST and ends on March 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
   2. All submissions must be received by the end time. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
   1. Log in to your Sola workspace. If you are not yet a Sola user, sign up.
   2. Create a new app and connect the AWS Sandbox integration.
   3. To enter, participants must complete the CTF challenges and submit their answers via the chatbot on the Sola Security platform or the dedicated Google Form.
   4. Participants will be prompted to provide their email address during submission.
   5. Each participant may submit only one entry. Once submitted, entries are final and cannot be edited or resubmitted.
   6. By submitting your answers, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions.
5. Competition Rules
   1. Participants must complete the challenge using the AWS Sandbox, which is preconfigured in every Sola Security workspace.
   2. Cheating, sharing answers, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any unfair behavior may result in disqualification
   3. Sola Security reserves the right to cross-reference submission data with product activity analytics to verify legitimate participation and ensure rule compliance. Suspicious or unverifiable entries may be disqualified.
6. Scoring and Winners
   1. Scoring will be determined by speed of submission, accuracy, and other factors at Sola Security’s discretion.
   2. Winners will be determined based on the highest overall scores at the close of the Competition Period.
   3. Participants who share the challenge on their social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, X, Facebook) and tag Sola Security may receive bonus points.
   4. Sola Security’s decisions regarding scoring and winners are final and binding.
   5. Winners will be announced and notified no later than March 20, 2026 via the email address provided during submission.
7. Prizes
   1. Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 scorers as follows:
      1. 1st Place: iPhone 17 Pro Max
      2. 2nd Place: AirPods 3 Pro
      3. 3rd Place: $200 Amazon Gift Card (or a comparable equivalent based on the winner’s country of residence, at Sola Security’s discretion)
      4. 4th & 5th Places: Sola Swag Pack + Signed Flag (per each winner)
      5. 6th–10th Places: Sola Stickers and Winter Socks (per each winner)
   2. All 10 winners will also receive two months of the Sola Starter package for free. 
   3. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash, unless otherwise required by law.
   4. Sola Security is not responsible for any taxes, fees, or duties associated with the receipt or use of any prize.
8. Winner Notification and Fulfillment
   1. Winners will be contacted via the email address provided during submission.
   2. Winners must provide additional information (e.g., mailing address) as needed to facilitate delivery of physical prizes.
   3. If a winner fails to respond within the timeframe stated in the notification, their prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scorer.
   4. U.S. winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more may be required to complete and submit IRS Form W-9 prior to receiving their prize. Failure to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
9. Data Collection and Privacy
   1. By submitting via the Sola chatbot or the dedicated Google Form, participants consent to the collection and use of their email address solely for administering the Competition.
   2. Information collected from winners (e.g., for prize delivery) will be used only for fulfillment purposes.
   3. All personal data will be processed in accordance with Sola Security’s Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
    1. All challenge materials, content, and platform features used during the Competition remain the intellectual property of Sola Security or its licensors.
    2. Participants may not copy, share, or redistribute competition content unless expressly authorized in writing.
11. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sola Security is not liable for:
    1. Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries
    2. Technical failures or errors
    3. Any damages or losses resulting from participation in the Competition or use of a prize
12. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Sola Security is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law rules.
13. Amendments
    Sola Security reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the official Sola Security platform or shared through official channels.
14. Right to Modify or Cancel
    Sola Security may modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition, these Terms, or any aspect thereof at any time and without prior notice, including in the event of fraud, technical difficulties, or force majeure. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
15. General Terms of Service
    Participation in this Competition is also subject to the general Sola Security Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Competition Terms and the general Terms of Service, these Competition Terms will govern solely with respect to the Competition.
16. Raffle Participation
    1. In addition to the Competition, Sola Security is running a separate raffle for eligible participants.
    2. Participants who (i) submit valid answers to the CTF Competition via the chatbot or the dedicated Google Form and (ii) connect a qualifying data source to their Sola workspace after their submission will be automatically entered into the raffle.
    3. Qualifying data sources exclude “Web Checker” and “Lovable.”
    4. The raffle prize is a special gift valued at no more than $200. The exact item will be determined and announced by Sola Security.
    5. Each eligible participant will receive one (1) entry into the raffle. No additional entries will be given.
    6. The raffle is distinct from the main Competition and does not affect scoring or prize eligibility in the CTF.
    7. Raffle entries must meet all eligibility criteria as verified by Sola Security. Entries deemed ineligible, fraudulent, or unverifiable may be removed at Sola Security’s discretion.
    8. The winner will be notified via email no later than April 1, 2026.
